well were do I start I want to thank you all for all the great things that you have done for me and the support and inspiration that all of you have given to me...

Chris: Well Chris this isn't going to be as long as twy's but yeah... Just wanted to tell you that your an awesome man of God that you have inspired me and have shown me so much that I can be grateful for. You are a really great friend and a nice guy all together God bless you and keep you this year. The adventures that God is going to take you on are endless and I know that you are not just going to go along for the ride but that in all that you do and everyone that you meet you will make a lasting impression that will be hard to get over. thanx

Bill: Bill, Bill, Billy-bob what to say about Billy-bob... well even though we have our times that we are just being so totally harsh to each other I know that it's all in great fun... you are an awesome guy and a lot of fun sure I get a little scared when I see that station wagon coming my way or when I see snow falling upon the ground but you always keep me on my toes and I have to respect that... in fact I respect you... You are like a brother (the one that I never wanted). The passion that you show in all that you do you commit to it and you don't complain about it you just do it and that really inspires me in so many ways.... Thanx (lets take this outside... I'll get you one of these times)

April: Well April I haven't really known you for a really long time but what I have some to see is amazing. You are a very beautiful woman and I see you growing in so many ways. Your preservant and that encourages me to keep on... you are exciting and fun and I'm am looking forward to getting to know you so much more over this next year.

Janice: Janice you have always'd inspired me you have always'd been there for me and I'm so grateful for that... I'm so happy that you want to be my friend and that you love me. To me your a priceless gem you are one of a kind... I love it that you can be yourself... And never let anyone take that from you.. I love your passion for all kinds of things, like Art, music, youth, God, keep it up. Your voice when you sing cheers me up no matter what I feel like... And Your love for God is so evident that it just shines off your face... I love you lots from the bottom of my heart...

Conrad: My Big Bro.... You are so special to me and I know that I don't tell you that enough but you have always'd inspired me to be more then I can be( even if I was usually just being competitive) Conrad you are have always'd been my best friend the person that I can talk to whenever I really needed to talk or just to sit down and draw with even if I was never a great artist. you were the person that I loved to just sit with and watch movies and to go for Pepsi. You Conrad are so much more to me then words can explain and I love you so much thanx for everything, for the beats and the games, for the lessons and for just listening, for giving and receiving for always being there when I need you to be... thanx so much you are a mighty man of God and I have seen you grow soo much over these years God bless you and keep you as you venture more and more into your life and in Him....

James: My Little hedge Hog... you well your awesome and just to start this off what I say in this is all serious... James I want to thank you for everything for teaching me and being there for me to talk to even though I ramble on and often times state really obvious things. thanx for being the great guy that you are... I have known you for soooo many years and our relationship has grown so uniquely and I like what it is becoming. You have always'd inspired me to keep on in God. You example that you set to me was great... you were never scared to admit that you made a mistake and that you have struggle to me the fact that you are not always perfect but that you are trying to grow has encouraged me... I see your potential and I believe that it is endless. Thanx for jamming with me I love music and I know you do to but thanx for sharing your musical talent with me keep on your music is sounding better all the time. James you are loyal to your ministry and to the many things that you do and I have respect for that even when the passion may not be there I respect the fact that you are still faithful... Always be faithful with what God has given to you... You are such a special person to me and words can't express the gratitude and respect that I have for you... I know that I joke around about this all the time but you really a hero to me!!

Twyla: Well Twy it's only right if I give you a little bit of a smaller note just because I wrote you a poem and we wont want everyone getting jealous... So twy I love you so much and I love it that you are so nice and kind and sweet... Your character to me just stands out above so much you are a rare flower and I love you sooo much God bless

Lannette: Well Lannette I have always'd looked up to you... You are an amazing woman (especially enduring Mr Povey for all those years) your preservance and strive for excellence although at times look a little tiring show me that you show pride in who you are and what you do I respect that about you... You are a really great drummer and musician keep on rocking out... you are fun when you need to be fun and you are professional when you need to be professional to me that inspires me you take joy in the things that you do and pride in doing them well you are such an amazing woman... You have inspired me and for that I thank you. God Bless you!!

Lee: WELL LEE WHAT IS THERE TO SAY BUT YOU NUTS MAN!!!!! you are like so crazy but that is what makes you so cool... Sure you goof off, a lot, but you are also a man that knows what he is talking about you don't just say things for the heck of it(although I'm sure at times you probably do) you Lee even if your so out there and all over the place you inspire me in ways that I can't exactly explain because I'm not sure why.... Your RANDOMness always keeps me on my toes and your humor and endless rapping is great even if it can get annoying... you are a great man of God and I'm sure that He is going to do AMAIZING things through you.

Matt: there are a lot of things that really stand out to me over this little time that I have gotten to know you and I will start by saying that you are really and truly a great friend. you are a mighty Man of God He is going to use you and work through you in so many ways that I'm sure that I don't know how and even maybe you don't know how but you have so much potential and so much to give to God.... You are an Awesome drummer you know I wish that I could drum even half as good as you... You are a musician and I know that you love music that is what really inspires me is that your passion and zeal for music it's unexplainable but its sooo evident. Matt you are a random funny guy and you are truly a great. thanx for all the help that you have given to me... God Bless

Natalie: Well Natalie I have known you now for so many years and you have shown me so much. you are a great friend and you have a great sense of humor (after all the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree). You Natalie inspire me all the time, you are this great woman of God that is growing and growing... you are so talented and brilliant there is so much I can say about you and it's actually really hard to put in to words.. But you are a great friend an awesome leader a role model and a beautiful young woman... you mean so much to me and I love you so much... Thanx for everything...

Kimberly: Well Kim I know that you have gone through so much even in this past little while and I see you deal with it so well you are a one of a kind woman... I see you grow and mature in Christ... Keep it up... You are a beautiful flower that I see growing so greatly and I hope to be able to continue to see that.. you inspire me and build me up every time I see you your smile brightens my day I love you so much Kim and you are so special to me.

Derek: well My Bro I know that we have never really talked all that much and we don't have all that in common (other then we look a lot alike) but I have always'd looked up to you. I like it that you would include me in all the things that you did... bike rides swimming, sports, games even if mom just mad you or that you just needed another person to play... I really like hanging with you... you are a great musician and a brilliant artist and I see so much potential all the years that we have grown together you have always'd been right there even if it wasn't directly I still looked up to you and love you....

Dan: Daniel, Daniel, Daniel, well we have had lots of fun together over the years... I have to thank you for the chipped teeth and possible mental damage but it has been so much fun.... you Dan are a really great guy I don't know if everyone sees that but you are truly a nice guy... You are fun and funny and a mighty man of God. Your a worshiper and I can see it so strongly in your life you are a worshiper of God and that really inspires me... thanx for being my friend even after all these years of having to put up with my being annoying... thanx for so much I can't really put it in to words and I know that you know that I respect you so much...

Ashielgh: Ash bash you are such a smart young lady and your a woman that I see seeking after God and the destiny that he has for you keep it up. you are a beautiful young lady and you have so much potential your future is wide open take all the opportunities you can don't waist it... Your laugh and your personality just always inspire me and fill my heart with joy God bless you and keep it up love you sooo much!!!

Stacey: You are really the little sister that I have always'd wanted you are such a blessing to me!!! I want to thank you for always being there even if it was at 5am. You are the life of the party and the life of my party.... You are the greatest sister if I had one.... I love you so much.... so yeah man I have seen you grow so much and I have seen you become such a great young women and you are such a great inspiration to me you are a brilliant flower. Christmas greeting!!!

So the Christmas season is here again... What does that mean, presents, food, candy, family, friends, and a whole lot of parties. So before you go out there and have fun remember a few things... Seeing as it is winter it is pretty cold out there. So in light of that make sure you dress warm and if you don't... make sure to drop by Tim Hortons it will always warm and cheer you up. The next piece of advice... Seeing that this season is supposed to be centered around the birth of Jesus, when you go about your busy Christmas schedules don't forget about the baby born to bring salvation to a lost world. Also remember to share the cheer and the Christmas story with those around you... you may ask how do I do that? Well smile, pray, greet, enjoy time, and love all those around you.

Ambition and dream.

"The very substance of ambition is merely the shadow of a dream." William Shakespeare.

I know that most of you reading this today should know who William Shakespeare is, so I will not go into depth on who he was. All that I will say is that he was probably one of the best poets, play writes, and story tellers of all time. Writings include things such as; Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, over 100 sonnets and wack load of other things.

This statement that he said is one that has inspired me and I hope that it does the same to you. Our ambition in life is found and fueled by the dream that ultimately makes our lives. Ambitious men have killed, experimented, loved, explored, read, and looked every where for the knowledge to complete their dream. The dream that life is better, that life is greater, then what is seen before them. Their dream is what truly embodies them but ambition was the action that was the cause of the dream. Why do we chase our dreams? To find what life is truly about. What so we miss out on when we lack ambition? Well I hate to say it but if you lack ambition you may miss out on your dream. Some times your shadow may not show but you know that it will return!

Be ambitious! Reach for the dream and remember to always think before you act.
Always keep in mind your friends and family never leave them behind.

Remembrance Day!

Lest we forget the charges held against those who have hurt us and who we have hurt. Lest we forget the strive for freedom that was at a cost, the highest cost that could ever be paid, ones own life. May we always remember, those who have gone before us to fight for the rights and love that we all behold. May we never forget, the love that was lost but the peace that was found in the midst of a bloody battle. May we never forget, all those men and women that sacrificed everything. Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, Brothers, Sons, Daughters, Aunts, and Uncles all alike have fought so that we can know a better world. Lest we forget, the grace that is found in the midst may we love and be loved, may we forgive and be forgiven, may we see the true peace that is in all that is here and around us. May we remember those that died but also those that lived to tell the story. Lest we forget... May we never forget, it will be a dark world if we ever forget those mistakes that have lead us to bloody battles. Remember that history is bound to repeat itself, but if we keep in mind the things that it has cost us we may never have to venture that way again. Don't live in the past, live in the present, don't forget the past but always look past it to the future. The past has nothing to offer other then a warning for next time you can not redo a day, when you live out a day, a minute, a second, its gone forever, but if you live in the past the future will pass you by and the present will become the past. Live now, Live for God.... But never forget the past the battles won, the battles lost, the love, the hurt, the peace, the war, the moments that where you feel like it should stand still, and the moments when you wish that time would move faster, joy, and sorrow... Lest we forget... May we never forget the goodness of God, and the grace that He has given to all of us. Never forget!

Rhythm

Drumming, drumming, the rhythm calls

To find a body to hold it's own

To move the soul, Awaken the spirit

The rhythm calls, awaiting some merit

Awaiting a chance to be free.

Rhythm screams to be known

When suddenly an echo begins rhyming back

He notices that deep within it's found

To find that it is in everyone

All About Fall!!!

Well fall is finally here (its my favorite time of the year.) Its not because my Birthday, or because you can get a ton of candy but because it is the time of the year that God truly reavels himself through it all. Its that time of the year that the leaves change there colour and all around is bright and beautiful. So that brings me to the reason that I have decided to blog I was walking home from school the other day totally discouraged and thats when it hit me God is so great what am I doing being discouraged. I saw that he truly loved me he took time to make this world so beautiful so how mush more he made me beautiful. The whisper in the wind the sounds of the leaves under my feet the perfect scilence of a fall day. It was great God is great His rightousness fills this earth. there is so much that I could say about it. But I'm just going to summerize it in this simple challenge go and experence your own perfect fall day with the Lord that loves you more then anything. go and descover the love of the King of Kings. He will never let you down!!!!

Are you Willing

Esther said this amaizing statement, "If I must die then I am willing to die." (Esther 4:16) We need to die to ourselves to live for God we need to give Him all of us and not hold anything back. To say to Him if I must die then I am willing to die. willing to die for all that you stand for, to die for others freedom, to die for Your name. " If we are not willing to wake up in the morning and die to ourselves, perhaps we should ask ourselves whether or not we are really following Jesus." ( Blue Like Jazz) You know that this is so true, we must lay down all that we have to take up our cross and follow Him. If you are to afraid to offend someone for the Gospel then you are not willing to die for the Gospel! I you are not willing to offend someone for the name of Jesus then you are not willing to die for the name of Jesus! WE MUST DIE TO OURSELVES, we must put away our fear, our fleash, and our wanting to be approved by all people to advance the kingdom of God. Are you willing today to die for the name of Jesus? Will you get over yourself to advance the kingdom of God. Are you ready to do what He says and to praise His name not only in the good times but also the bad ones? Surrender all to Jesus! You need to wake up every morning and decide for that day that you are going to live and even die for the advance of the kingdom, you need to choose each day who you are going to serve. ARE YOU READY TO DO WHAT IT TAKES TO GLORIFY THE NAME OF JESUS?

What is genius?

So I have found probibly the coolest qoute in the world today. It was written some time in the 1800's by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, my favorite poet of all time. She published her first book of poems when she was fourteen and wrote around 262 poems. the poems before congress (1860), all though written in her final years when her health was failing are said to have some of the most forceful and beautful lyrics. She later died in 1861 a year after her best poems were written.

Now that you have some backround on who Elizabeth Berret Browning is I will share with you the coolest quote that I have ever heard. " What is genius but the power of expressings a new individuality." This statment is so true because all those people that we say are genius' now a days, inventers, discoverers, teachers; they all by a sence of something different were driven to find out more about our universe. It was the individuals, those who did not go with the crowd, those who were different, they were the ones that are known for more now then those who were popualr in those days. It is those who know how to be themselves that truly discover what the universe is about, that find out what life is really about. It is those who have a grasp on who they are that are really open to adventure. That is why I would say that being different is cool. in other words be yourself that is what will truly distinguish you from those around you, those who came before you and those who will come after. Genius' are those who are individual!

So be your self! After all you never know who is whatching you!!!

Slow to Anger

"Slow to anger, and Quick to forgive."
You can take this sentence in many ways such as; be slow to become anger but when you become anger forgive right away, or possibly to hold in your anger and then when you are about to explode forgive. None of that is what I am trying to get at. So we are going to take this one step at a time.

When I say slow to anger I actually mean what is says. Instead of letting
your anger get the best of you and take over you should think it over what are you getting mad at. Is it a good reason and if it's not then think why is it bugging me. When you get to the bottom of what is making you mad you will see that you can take the next step to dealing with it, I will come to the next step in a bit. " He who is slow to anger is better then the mighty, and he who rules he spirit, than he who captures a city." Proverbs 16:32 (NAS)

Quick to forgive, what does it mean to be quick to forgive. Well
to be quick to forgive is the next step. When you have dealt with your anger forgiveness is the next step, or you will end up becoming bitter. To forgive someone who has offended you is not the easiest thing, infect it is actually pretty hard. To forgive is not forgetting and making what ever happened right it is just dealing with it on your end of the spectrum. Even if they don't accept your forgiveness or you never have the chance to tell them, it is giving it to God. You may not fell it right away but if you forgive in faith you will and it really does help deal with anger. I find that if you are quick to forgive you will be slow to anger. "Just let it go!"

Now I don't know if this made sense but I sure hope that it did and remember
be slow to anger and quick to forgive.

The Mystery of a Thunderstorm.

the mystery of a thunder storm
So I just got back from camp not to long ago and I was thinking of all the great things that happen out there. There was onw thing
that just stood out so clearly in my mind the fact that there were so many storms..... you know for people at camp they useally dread the fact that a storm was in the distance. For me it was exciting the storm was a beautiful site. as the sound of the thunder rolled through the clouds and the lightning flashed in the distance all I thought was "man God had to be really creative when he thought up that" It may bring a sign of destruction but it is truly a wonderful sight. so I was sitting there on the swing set playing a game with the children when I thought about it clearly. God made the thunder storm, which normally is a frightning sight for many, to be so beautiful so then we would marvel at the sight so then we would question. There has to be a God , that magninficent sight couldn't of happend per chance. The smell of the air after a thunderstom is nothing more the a generation of nitrogin but it is truly one of my favorite smells in the worl. well now you know what I think of a thunder storm, and maybe next time a thunder storm comes your way you should observe it.
